Biography of Choeur Des Seraphins

Created on July 2, 2013 in Brazzaville under the initiative of Mrs. ATTA EKOMBA ALPHONSINE, the Séraphin Choir is an independent Christian choir from the Republic of Congo whose goal is to evangelize by singing through the four corners of the horizon.

Composed of 50 singers who demonstrate a Christian moral integrity and rigorous accuracy for singing. The choir presents a rich and varied repertoire. The genre and styles performed are diverse, the chorus draws them into the folklore of the traditional Congolese rhythm, mixed by a few lines of Reggae, Classical, and Gospel. The seraphins choir has an album of nine titles, entitled "FOLOLO YA MOTEMA", produced in 2015. Since its existence, the seraphins choir has participated in several festivals and events.

Participations: A participation in the Panafrican Music Festival (FESPAM) in 2015, A performance at the 11th African Games on 19 September 2015 organized in Brazzaville, A show at the French Institute of Congo (IFC), A performance at the 16th ordinary session of the executive committee of FESPAM (Symposium) at the Palais des Congres on October 5, 2016, From September 17 to 28, 2017 the choir represented the Congo at the 10th edition of the Samaa festival in Cairo, Egypt, In September 2018 he still represented Congo in Cairo for the 12th edition of the Samaa festival, In conclusion, the major element that particularizes the choir is the quality of its singers who arouse the craze and enchantment of those who listen.
