Allegro female Vocal Ensemble "Sarajevo

Allegro is considered as one of the most prominent Bosnian chorals ever. It has been founded in Sarajevo in 1998. It consists of ten female performers along with the accompanying musicians under the direction of the artist Samra Bucan. The band is distinctive with its varied performances from the Bosnian heritage and religious Islamic chanting as well as works of great international artists.

By the beginning of 2001, the band succeeded to win the first award of the International Music Festival in Italy. Then it was nominated by the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina to go back to Italy in that same year and perform in the Prato festival for sister states’ chorals; for the band to meet great welcoming from the side of audience.
