The band was founded in 1980, and since more than thirty years, they maintain the heritage of Sufi al-Issawi and Constantine.
The group is a leader in the art of Sufi chanting in Algeria undisputed. The nature of the performances is religious, praise of the Prophet “peace be upon him”, and spiritual Sufi chanting.
Sessions :أُصلى فى باحة مفتوحة للسماء،
مستقبلاً الشرق فى الفجر والغرب فى الغسق،
حتى ينفتح الكون امامي،
ويستقبل الكون كله اصوات تسابيحى
انفتحى أيتها الأرض العظيمة
وأمسكى بهمسات أوراقك أيتها الأشجار

And the West is fulfilling the senses at dusk
