Bahour Al - Madheen

The ensemble appeared in the city of Sabha and was founded in 2002, and was given the name Bahour Al - Madheen for the many seas of praise and its various types in terms of meaning and music.
The idea of founding the ensemble came from a group of young people who are aware of this specific color of authentic art, with the purpose of reviving folklore, preserving the cultural heritage and highlighting talents.
The ensemble has had several successful local and international participations, including:
The first youth festival in Libya in Benghazi, where it got the third place, in 2005.
Represented Libya in the field of muwashah at the first Maghreb Youth Cultural, Literary and Artistic Science Festival in Tripoli in 2008.
Prophetic praise festival in five sessions 2008, 2009, 2010, 2015, 2017.
Represented Libya at the Third International Festival of African Arts in Senegal, in 2010.
Participated in the opening of Sirte Capital of Arab Culture, in 2011.
